ATI is a leading global supplier and manufacturer of titanium and titanium alloy products. We produce high strength commercially pure titanium and titanium alloy products in flat-rolled and long forms, net-shapes and components. ATI also produces commercially pure titanium and titanium alloys as near-net-shape titanium powder metals, titanium aluminides, highly-engineered titanium castings and titanium forgings, and machined titanium components.
ATI's nickel & cobalt-based alloys and superalloys are used in jet engines, gas turbines, chemical processing, petroleum refining, marine, electronics and other applications where common stainless steels may not provide adequate performance.
ATI produces a wide variety of stainless and specialty steels known for their excellent corrosion and heat resistance. These steel alloys are used in a broad range of applications including, aerospace and defense, chemical processing industry, oil and gas, electrical energy, medical, automotive, food equipment and appliance, construction, mining, transportation and electronics.
ATI was the first industrialized manufacturer of zirconium. In the late 1950s, ATI zirconium products were used for the nation's first full-scale commercial nuclear power plant, built in Shippingport, Pennsylvania, USA. Not only is ATI a pioneer in zirconium, today it is also a leader in zirconium metallurgy.
ATI is a leading producer of a wide range of military-grade titanium, specialty steels and other metals for armoring current and future land-based vehicles.
Tungsten-based infiltrated metals, with either copper or silver as infiltrants, have been widely used in industry for many years. The major uses include missile vector control vanes, nozzle and throat materials, missile plume deflector shields, electrical contacts, resistance welding contacts, and porous emitters.
Our forging capabilities span materials from carbon and alloy steel to superalloys, titanium and other specialty materials. We employ a wide range of forging technologies, including isothermal and hot-die forging for advanced aerospace materials and components. And ATI provides a full range of post-forging inspection, machining and finishing services with the certified quality you need to meet demanding application requirements.
ATI is a technical market leader with advanced capabilities in the production of powder for additive manufacturing. With an extensive catalog of specialty materials, ATI products are second-to-none, and we provide engineering expertise required to support customers in the additive manufacturing marketplace.
ATI provides a comprehensive network of machining and subassembly capabilities that convert forged, cast and fabricated shapes into application-ready components, providing a final link in the secure ATI supply chain. ATI machining and finishing capabilities are focused especially on titanium, nickel-based alloys and other high performance materials used for aerospace, defense, oil & gas and other applications.
