Building RelATIonships

From women Veterans to four-legged friends and community shelters, ATI contributed to the communities where we live, work and operate this summer.

Community Shelter Donation Drive: The ATI Specialty Materials (SM) chapter of ATI’s Women’s Network (AWN) and the SM Quality department joined together to support the Community Shelter of Union County. The shelter provides 3 meals a day year-round to their community members. Teams served lunch and hosted a donation drive, collecting food, toiletries, and other supplies for residents of the shelter This was a great team effort to serve those in need in the Union County community.

Robin's Home Collection: In honor of Women’s Veterans Day on June 12, the Specialty Rolled Products (SRP) and Employee Resource Center (ERC) chapters of ATI’s Women’s Network (AWN) partnered to collect items for Robin’s Home. Robin’s Home is an organization named after a female veteran who passed away 2017; providing full care and support to women veterans and their children as the need for housing stabilization and supportive services continues to grow. They rely heavily on grants and community support to continue running. The teams were able to fill two cars’ worth of collected items ranging from personal hygiene products to necessary household supplies!

Humane Society Drive: Building on their momentum from 2022, ATI Forged Products (FP) conducted a second drive for the Wisconsin Humane Society. The team collected food, supplies, crates, blankets, and more for the shelter. They ended up with almost a pallet worth of items to be donated to help support the different shelters in the state.

The humane society does more than just provide shelter to local strays, read here to see more about their work rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehousing animals: Home | Wisconsin Humane Society (wihumane.org)
