Each year, ATI Specialty Materials employees and their families help those in need during United Way's Day of Caring. The Day of Caring projects involve activities such as lawn care, weeding flowerbeds, pruning shrubs, picking up trash, washing windows, and light painting. The majority of project sites are at homes of the elderly. "It's very heartwarming to see the impact it has on others. I have multiple memories of those smiling faces and just the continuous acts of appreciation," says Tim Wiggins, ATI's Director of Sales and Marketing. "We come in and clean up, we do the work that's needed, and there's always this gratefulness that's expressed by those we've served that's almost beyond description."
